According to Prime Minister Kai Kallas (Reform Party), she will not attend an extraordinary joint meeting of the special committees of the Riigikogu on control of the state budget and the fight against corruption on Tuesday, because business activities in Russia have nothing to do with the state budget.
“I replied that I was ready to participate in the work of specialized commissions, but this issue has nothing to do with the state budget. I also have an inquiry hour in the Riigikogu, where every Wednesday for two hours I will answer the questions of the members of the Riigikogu, so I do not run away from these questions,” said Kaja Kallas.
– I think that neither the opposition nor the press is interested in this scandal dying out, so I think that it will continue. The opposition, of course, will come forward with a vote of no confidence, and then I will come to parliament to give clarifications.
