Thrikkakara > Kakkanad 15-year-old girl found hanging. Dipa Malik (15), a native of Odisha, was found hanging dead in her bedroom. In the incident, the husband Chakradhar Malik (40) was taken into custody by Thrikakkara police. The incident took place on Wednesday at 6 pm. Chakradhar Malik, an employee of a private company in the Kakanad industrial area, came home after work and found the girl hanging. He immediately informed the local residents. Thrikakkara police reached the spot and sealed the room. The police took the youth into custody. The police stated that there is no mystery in the death.
