The search for the absconding accused in the Kakkanad gang rape case is in full swing. The first accused Ajmal and three others are wanted. The woman’s confession was recorded in the case. Kochi Infopark police have registered a case against four persons for rape and unlawful locking up on the complaint of a woman from Malappuram. The second defendant, Salim, was arrested at his home stay where the rape took place. The first accused Ajmal, the third accused Shamir and the fourth accused Kritina went missing. The rape took place at the Cristina Residency, which is owned by Cristina. The woman, who had come to Kochi from Malappuram for a model photo shoot, had booked the room on the second day. Later, Salim came to the room and raped the girl.
