MK Yom Tov Kalfon (right) came out today sharply in the Education Committee against the demolition of heritage sites in Judea and Samaria.
“A nation that does not know its past, its present is meager and its future is shrouded in mist,” Kalfon said. “This is what Yigal Alon said. The heritage of the Jewish people is not a religious matter but a national matter. Everyone should shout the cry for what the Palestinians are doing in Judea and Samaria. They are destroying our national past.”
Kalfon added: “They are destroying heritage sites because they want to erase history, because probably history is inconvenient for them. Because they have no history there. There was never a Palestinian state, or a Palestinian kingdom, neither 2,000 years ago nor 3,000 years ago.”
