Moscow: Russia’s arsenal has always been famous for its innovative weapons. There are strange weapons in that vast region that Putin rules that the outside world can’t even imagine.
Now Kalina is a new weapon added to that range. Kalina is a laser weapon used to destroy enemy satellites. Their laser beams are powerful enough to destroy the camera eyes of spy satellites passing over Russian territory. This weapon is in the final stages of its development.

While the Soviet Union had the idea in the 1970s, Russia began building it in 2011. The anti-satellite weapon is located somewhere west of Zelenchukskaya. It works in conjunction with Russia’s space observatory, Krona.
