While the CBCID is investigating the case of a Class 12 student who died in a private school in Kaniyamur, Kallakurichi, the court has granted bail to the arrested school administrators and teachers. In this case, the mother of Kallakurichi student, who met the media, had 14 demands in her petition to Chief Minister Stalin.
The petition contained 14 demands:
I asked the police officers to show me the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the school before and after the moment of my daughter’s death but they did not.
I asked the school management who informed me that my daughter died and asked them to wait till I arrived at the hospital but they all ran away. The school management did not give any reason or explanation for my daughter’s death.
I asked the police to show me the room where my daughter was staying on the day of my daughter’s death, her bag and her belongings and that I should meet my daughter’s friends but the police refused.
He said that he had a letter written by my daughter before her death and that he had taken it on July 13, but the police did not give it to me and showed it to the media.
I had said that the first postmortem of my daughter should be done in the presence of the relevant revenue and medical officials, but the postmortem was not done that way.
We appealed to the authorities from July 13 to July 16 for proper investigation and appropriate action in my daughter’s death but none of them did proper investigation.
There was no bleeding where my daughter was said to have fallen.
I got no answer when I asked who put my daughter’s dead body in the hospital mortuary.
The district administration did not come to the school and investigate the death of my daughter
The first autopsy did not perform sex-related tests
The high court refused to allow the doctor on my daughter’s side to do the second autopsy, despite the decision of the high court that the student’s parents and lawyer could be present, the second autopsy was hastily done without the parents and the lawyer.
The High Court gave a hasty verdict to buy my daughter’s body and bury it.
I have asked for the gold and silver necklaces worn by my daughter and there is no information about it, so I humbly request the Hon’ble Chief Minister to intervene and clarify the mysteries of my daughter’s death and take appropriate action to get justice for my daughter’s death.
