Following that, Lokesh Kanagaraj has made a name for himself in the minds of Tamil cinema fans by directing films like Karthi’s Prisoner, Vijay’s Master and the currently released World Hero Vikram.
Series wins
No one thought that the movie Managaram released in 2017 starring Sri and Regina would be so successful. Released as one of the small budget films, Managaram was a huge hit with the audience. Lokesh Kanagaraj made Tamil cinema look back with his first film. He then directed the 2019 prisoner film starring Karthi. The prisoner movie which was released without songs and heroine gave a new kind of experience to the fans. The film also took the prisoner film Lokesh Kanagaraj to the next level to the acclaim of the fans. Following the film, Lokesh Kanagaraj got the chance to direct Vijay.
Master
Following the prisoner film, Lokesh Kanagaraj directed the master film with Commander Vijay. The different alliance between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj also increased the anticipation of the fans for the film. Vijay Sethupathi also threatened Vijay as the villain in the film. Trapped in a corona environment, the film was somehow released to Pongal on screen last year. The crew waited for the masterpiece to be released in theaters only for the fans and then released the film on screen. Vikram
Following the huge success of the master film, it was reported that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing world star Kamal Haasan. But with Kamal busy with politics and TV shows, fans have been questioning whether an alliance is possible. In this case, the alliance was officially announced last year. Named Vikram, the film was produced and starred by Kamal on behalf of his Raj Kamal Films. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Fazil alongside Kamal.
Storytelling experience
Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently sharing his experience of telling the story of Vikram film to world leader Kamal Haasan. After watching the movie Prisoner, Kamal Haasan praised director Lokesh Kanagaraj. After that we asked Lokesh Kanagaraj if there was any story from Kamal Haasan’s side. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who was then shooting for the master, went to meet Kamal. But he had no story in hand then. There was only one one line. So Lokesh went to Kamal and asked him that now I only have one line story and he needs some time to develop it. Kamal has been told to develop the one line story as soon as he catches it. It is worth mentioning that the one line story is currently being released as a Vikram film on June 3.
