Coming at the end of Eid ahead of Eid, the crowd of homebound people has increased at Kamalapur station. Many are leaving the capital by train from morning to celebrate Eid with their families. Today is the sixth day of Eid journey by train (April 8). The train is leaving on time since morning. As a result, the air of relief is blowing in the train journey.

The officials of Bangladesh Railways say that the Eid pressure is mainly on the trains from today. The crowd will increase in the next two days. However, trains are leaving on time from Kamalapur station to different parts of the country. Don’t bother with any schedule today.

It is known that trains start leaving Kamalapur railway station from 6 am on Sunday. 5 trains leave the station including 3 intercity in the first hour. As a result, as the day progresses, the pressure of passengers increases at the station.

Even on the sixth day of the Eid train journey, the homebound people started the journey without suffering from the morning. Passengers have to enter the station after crossing the first three-level check post. After verifying the ticket with the pod machine, they are allowed to enter the platform.

Scouts and Red Crescent members are also working to prevent ticketless passengers from entering the platform. As a result, the passengers say that the Eid journey is going smoothly due to following this process. Being able to travel smoothly has increased the joy of Eid. Besides, control rooms of RAB, Police and Railway Security Forces have been set up at the entrance to the platform area to provide overall security to the train passengers during the Eid journey.

This Eid, as 100% tickets are sold online, there is no need to queue for hours to buy tickets.

Eid-ul-Fitr is the biggest religious festival of Muslims. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on April 10 or 11, subject to moon sighting.

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Tuesday (April 9) to determine the date of the moon sighting of the holy month of Shawwal of 1445 Hijri and the date of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. If the moon is seen on Tuesday, the 29th of Ramadan will end on April 10, and if the moon is not seen, the 30th of Ramadan will be completed and Eid will be celebrated on April 11.
