Kamero-Tech will provide a long-range through-wall sensing system to special forces in a Western European country

by time news

Israel’s Camero-Tech, a member of the SK group that deals with the development, production and marketing of UWB Micro Power radar systems based on pulses ‘Through Wall Imaging’ – announced this week (Thursday) that it received a purchase order from a national police in Western Europe for a radar system ם Xaver™ LR40 which enables the detection of living objects behind walls, at distances of more than 50 meters.

The company’s announcement stated that special forces, intelligence units and law enforcement teams operating in urban and rural areas require reliable information about living objects located in buildings in order to determine the most appropriate approach to carry out successful missions to thwart crimes and save lives.

The Xaver™ LR40 system penetrates walls from a remote location and creates an unprecedented real-time environmental awareness picture of the presence of people beyond the wall, their exact distance, the number of people and the direction of movement. The system is also very sensitive to detect micro-movements of live static objects. The Xaver™ LR40 is a ‘game-changing’ system in various operational scenarios where it is required to track an object for a short or long time without its knowledge.

Xaver™ LR40 is controlled by a 10.1” rugged tablet with a simple user interface for intuitive operation, including data recording for analysis, training and post-mission debriefing. The system is equipped with a dedicated sight that is used to precisely direct the system’s narrow transmission beam to the target. The system can be operated by a single operator, and is ready for use at the push of a button.

“The Xaver™ LR40 system allows a special force or tactical surveillance team to observe a target from long distances for hours or days without being detected,” says Amir Bari, CEO of Camero. “This is the only ‘sensing through walls’ radar capable of detecting living objects from a distance such

The Xaver™ LR40’s innovative Ultra-Wideband sensor, supported by patented algorithms and advanced signal processing, provides the user with comprehensive real-time environmental awareness while remaining safe more than 50 meters away from the target.”
