Actor Ganja Karupu recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing political situation in Tamil Nadu. He mentioned that he had participated in the Mandal Pooja and Palkudam festival at the Murugan temple near Manamadurai and was now going to take the fire pan to Samayapuram Muthumariamman. He added that Edappadi Palaniswami, the current General Secretary of AIADMK, is going to take Agni Chatti to become the Chief Minister once again.
Ganja Karupu also expressed his hope for honest and good governance in Tamil Nadu and believed that if Palaniswami had been in power, the increase in electricity charges and house tax could have been avoided. He also talked about the conflict within AIADMK, calling it a fight between partners and stating that all the problems would soon end.
The actor, who joined AIADMK in 2018 and participated in meetings and campaigns, is known for his smooth speech and comic lines in movies.
