‘Kantara Next Year’s Oscar Entry’; Kangana says that the world needs to experience the reality

TheBollywood star Kangana Ranaut has praised ‘Kantara’ which has caught the attention of the Indian audience. Kangana said that she has seen the film and that the film will be India’s Oscar entry next year. Kangana also said that Kantara is an experiential reality that the world needs to experience.

‘Watched Kantara with my family and I feel Kantara will be India’s entry to next year’s Oscars. The year is almost over and there are more great movies to come. It is a land of mystery. One cannot understand it, let alone absorb it. India is like a miracle, if you try to understand it, you will be disappointed, but if you surrender to the miracle, you can become that one. Kantara is an experiential reality that the world needs to experience’, Kangana wrote.

Meanwhile, Kantara is getting good box office collection in Bollywood as well as in South India. The Hindi version of the film was released last Friday. The film opened with 1.27 crores and has collected 15 crores so far. The film collected 3.50 crores last Sunday.

The original Kannada version of the film hit the theaters on September 30. Produced by KGF producers Hombale Films. The Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions of the film, which shone at the box office from day one, were also released. The Malayalam version of the film was released two days ago. The film was distributed in Kerala by Prithviraj Productions.

Kantara is a film written and directed by Rishabh Shetty. Rishabh himself is the hero. Set against the backdrop of the 19th century, the film is getting a great response from all quarters.
