Two people were killed when an Omni bus and a tempo collided head-on near a guard well.
Three people have gone tempo to a private market in Nellai district police well to buy vegetables from Nithravilai in Kanyakumari district. They were returning home to buy vegetables. Then the Omni bus from Nagercoil to Coimbatore unexpectedly collided head on with the tempo.
In this, a person who came in the tempo was thrown and died on the spot. Two more were seriously injured. One of them died on the way to the hospital. Some people on the bus, including the Omni bus driver, were slightly injured. The crash affected traffic in the area for about two hours.
Upon learning of the accident, the Aral Bay police arrived and recovered the body of the deceased and repaired the traffic. The cause of the accident is being investigated
