Kanye West Sued: Employee Claims He Wanted Home Without Windows, Electricity

Malibu, CA – Kanye West is facing a lawsuit filed by a former employee who alleges that the rapper fired him for refusing to comply with his demands to remove all the windows and electricity from his Malibu home. Tony Saxon, the project manager overseeing the remodel of West’s property, claims that he was made to sleep on the floor and work long hours while coordinating the renovation.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Saxon alleges that he worked tirelessly for Ye starting in September 2021, serving as both project manager and security for the property. He claims that West showed no concern for his well-being, as Saxon slept on the floor using a coat as makeshift bedding.

Saxon further states that his concerns about the removal of the windows and electricity were dismissed by West, who reportedly raised his voice and insisted on bringing large generators inside the house. Saxon expressed concerns about the potential fire hazard that the generators could cause, but claims that West threatened him and insisted on his compliance.

In the lawsuit, Saxon recalls West saying, “If you don’t do what I say, you’re not going to work for me, I’m not gonna be your friend anymore and you’ll just see me on TV.” Saxon informed West that he didn’t watch TV, but was promptly fired on the spot.

Saxon is now suing West for labor code violations, including unpaid wages and damages. The lawsuit sheds light on the alleged mistreatment and disregard for safety that Saxon claims he experienced while working for the rapper.

This lawsuit adds to the ongoing legal troubles for Kanye West, who has faced previous lawsuits and controversies throughout his career. As the case unfolds, it remains to be seen how West will respond to the allegations made by Saxon.
