Dubai: The much-hyped International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) awards ceremony returns to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on February 9 and 10, 2023 for the second consecutive year. Karan Johar and Farah Khan will headline the music-filled event, which honors some of the biggest stars in the world’s biggest film industry. Combining music, dance, cinema and fashion, IIFA Rocks 2023 will feature many of Bollywood’s finest artists, including Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Nuclea and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Karan Johar, who has won multiple awards at IIFA, says, “I have had a special relationship with IIFA for over two decades. It is a special pleasure to be able to rock the stage with Farah this time.” Farah Khan, who hosted the 22nd edition of IIFA with Aparshakti Khurana this past June, does not hide her joy of coming back this time. “I’ll be back after exactly nine months. Karan Johar will be there too. It’s going to be an exciting event, no doubt.” Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan and Nuclea will also have life performances at IIFA Rocks.

Music director and singer Amit Trivedi, who reached the stage of IIFA Rocks in 2019, has assured that he will once again prepare his musical feast. “IIFA is not only a platform to honor those who have proved their talent in Bollywood. It is also a platform to showcase Indian culture in front of the world. That’s why everyone is attracted to that platform again and again.

Badshah is also looking forward to a thrilling performance. “Alia Bhatt rocked New York at the IIFA Awards 2017 with her song ‘Ladki Beautiful Kargaichul’ from Kapoor and Sons. This year I will personally be here to regale you with some of my most popular hit songs. The days of waiting are here,” he said.

Sunidhi Chauhan is also no stranger to IIFA. She is the youngest person to be nominated for Best Female Singer for the song Mehboob Mere from Fiza. Sunidhi received 17 nominations. He was awarded twice. “This time IIFA will give me the platform to delight the fan family from all over the world. We will surely rock Abu Dhabi” – said.

Grammy Award-nominated Indian electronic music producer Nuxia is known for his super hit albums like ‘Buzz Rani’ and ‘Raja Baja’ and his events with internationally renowned artists. “IIFA Rocks 2023 is going to be a night to remember forever. Let the countdown to the best of Indian music and dance begin” – he said.

Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are all set to host the IIFA Weekend and Awards 2023. Abhishek Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Manish Paul will be the hosts of the awards.
