Karbala Club secures its stay in the Stars League and Amanat Baghdad relegated to the Premier League

Today, Saturday, three matches were held in the 38th and final round of the Iraqi Premier League football competitions.

The correspondent of the (INA) reported that Karbala Football Club tied with its counterpart Al-Qasim 1-1 in the 38th round of the Iraqi Stars League.
Al-Qasim Club opened the scoring through player Alaa Mohsen in the 66th minute, while Karbala player Sajjad Raad equalized the score in the 77th minute. With this tie, Karbala secured its stay in the Iraqi Premier League.
In a second match, Basra Oil achieved a victory over its counterpart, Al-Kahraba, with two clean goals in the same round.
Hussam Malek scored the first goal for Naft Al-Basra in the 38th minute, while Mohammed Saeed added the second goal in the 41st minute.
The match between Amanat Baghdad and Al-Naft ended in a 2-2 draw, as Redha Fadhel scored Amanat Baghdad’s two goals in the 73rd and 74th minutes, while Hassan Dakhel also scored two goals in the 56th and 71st minutes. With this result, Amanat Baghdad Club was officially relegated to the Premier League.
