The film crew has cut the cake to celebrate the one year success of ‘Karnan’.
‘Karnan’, directed by Mari Selvaraj and starring Dhanush, drew crowds to the theater during the Corona period. ‘Karna’ carried the sword against the caste-power oppression. Santosh Narayanan’s songs and music were very well received. Karnan’s film based on the Kodiyankulam incident was well received. It was also selected as the Best Indian Film at the Bangalore Innovative International Film Festival and added pride to Tamil cinema.
Karna is still celebrated for his performance and plot in ‘Pudupettai’, ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Asuran’. The film was produced by Thanu and starred Rajisha Vijayan, Kelleri Kishan and Lal. At this point, one year after Karnan’s release, the film crew including Dhanush, Mari Selvaraj and Thanu cut the cake.
‘Karnan’ was released on April 9 last year. Mari Selvaraj and Dhanush, who are currently shooting for ‘Vathi’, met Dhanush and cut the cake. Mari Selvaraj and Dhanush have shared these photos on their social media pages.
