Kate Middleton has announced a new initiative that ties into her royal work to support young children and families. The Royal Foundation’s Early Childhood Centre, which the princess set up in 2021, announced on July 25 that it was “thrilled” with the launch of The Baby Bank Alliance. The new community brings together more than 300 baby banks across the UK to provide essentials to families in need.
The organisation has posted several photos on Instagram of the 42-year-old princess visiting baby banks between 2022 and 2023. One of the photos was taken before Christmas, when the princess took her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with her. No further visits by Kate Middleton to baby banks have been announced.
“You can see how rewarding this kind of work is when you help others,” said Kate Middleton.
On March 22, Kate Middleton revealed that she was undergoing the early stages of preventative chemotherapy. Prince William’s wife said the cancer was discovered during tests following abdominal surgery. The princess has not attended an event since Christmas. On June 15, she made her first public appearance in a long time.
