On June 17, the traditional Trooping the Color parade took place in London. The event launched the celebration of the anniversary of Charles III – in November, the King of Great Britain will turn 75 years old.
The daughter-in-law of the monarch Kate Middleton made her debut at the parade in the status of the Princess of Wales. Prince William’s wife chose an Andrew Gn hat and dress in the traditional color of Ireland – green – to emphasize the presence of the rank of Colonel of the Irish Guards. For the same purpose, she wore a gold clover brooch once owned by the Queen Mother, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
The look was completed with Princess Diana’s sapphire earrings.
Kate Middleton was heading to the parade in a carriage with three children: 9-year-old Prince George, 8-year-old Princess Charlotte and 5-year-old Prince Louis. They were also joined by Queen Camilla.
