Kate Nolte and Her 83-Year-Old Mother Share Nine-Part Workout
Maintaining physical activity and strength after turning 60 is an important factor in preserving autonomy and quality of life during aging according to La Nación. Addressing this need, 47-year-old trainer Kate Nolte has gained attention on social media by sharing short training sessions that she performs alongside her 83-year-old mother, Suki reported TN.
The fitness initiative began eight months prior when Nolte invited her mother to incorporate Quick Minutes, a training platform focused on developing strength and mobility through short sessions. Since then, Suki has integrated the exercises into her daily routine, leading to noticeable improvements in her physical condition according to El Tiempo.
My mom, Suki, is 83 years old and living proof that it is never too late to feel joyful. She started doing Quick Minutes with me last year and hasn’t stopped since. She is stronger, more flexible, has better balance, and great endurance,
expressed Nolte on her Instagram account, @tulumtrainer.

The Nine-Exercise Bodyweight Sequence
Through a video posted online, Nolte demonstrated a sequence of nine movements designed to combine coordination, balance, and strength. The routine is structured so that each activity lasts approximately one minute, with intensities that can be modified according to individual physical condition and age reported TN.
The workout incorporates nine distinct movements detailed by Trendencias:

- Activating jumps: Light hops that lift the feet slightly from the floor to activate the legs and stimulate coordination with loose arms moving to the rhythm.
- Hip-driven body waves: Movements combining arm waves and shoulder mobility with a slight back bend followed by an elevation driven by the hips.
-
Arm swings: Controlled upward and downward arm movements alternating to work mobility, coordination, and the upper back and shoulders.
- Torso rotations: Gentle trunk rotations keeping arms in a circle in front to stimulate the lumbar region and abdominals without forcing the back.
- Alternate kicks: Controlled forward leg raises performed one at a time to strengthen legs while improving balance and elasticity.
- Full-body rotations: Loosening the entire body by rotating limbs and torso in opposite directions to work the core and extremities.
- Golfer swings: Simulating a swing motion with arms and torso rotation without golf clubs to engage the back, hips, and coordination.
- Punches: Controlled forward punches without contact to activate the arm muscles and abdominals.
- Final bow: A gentle variation of a backward crossed lunge that works the knees, legs, and stability.
Suki Nolte Stays Active Through Walks and Pickleball
Nolte noted that her mother sustains an active lifestyle through neighbourhood walks and playing pickleball—a paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis reported TN.
My mom Suki is an incredible example of a woman who chooses to thrive in her 80s. She does Quick Minutes every day, walks around the neighborhood, and plays pickleball. She prioritizes protein at every meal and stays connected to her community,
stated Nolte, emphasizing that consistent daily habits shape how individuals age according to La Nación.
