“This is a pretty special song because it is pain transformed into art. It is a way to create catharsis for anyone who has an affection miles away. The lyrics reflect a moment of vulnerability, frustration, sadness and at the same time a deep love and the uncertainty of not knowing when you will see that person you love again,” says Katherine about this romantic pop that she began to create at the end from last year, to then complement the lyrics with Alfredo López Strauss and Willian Velásquez, who were also in charge of the arrangements and musical production.
Recorded at Pfg’s Studios, Hasta El Final is the first part of a trilogy of songs with which the singer-songwriter explores the most intense feelings and experiences. Each phrase and melody portrays the reality of hundreds of people in the world: loving with kilometers or different time zones in between.
“This song sings of a love that does not know if it will reach the end, if it will last over time… Then comes It does not make sense, which reflects the moments lived and how it is absurd to think about ending a relationship, and we close with You are, which encompasses that special being who is the most important thing in life and with whom happiness is complete,” Coll notes.
Hasta El Final can be enjoyed on the main digital platforms and is accompanied by a video clip directed by Miguel Mardeni, which is available on Katherine Coll’s official YouTube channel.
