Kathy Bates herself communicated this to the New York Times, explaining that once this assignment is completed, she will step away from the entertainment world to enjoy some well-deserved rest. “This job affects my life. Sometimes I am jealous of having this talent because I can’t handle it and just want to live my life,” says the actress who, over the years, has brilliantly split her time between film and TV, earning the appreciation of more than one generation – not to mention iconic supporting roles like Molly Brown in Titanic -. “Suddenly, I am asked to use all that I have prayed for, worked for, fought for to carve my path. It’s exhausting,” continues Kathy Bates as she awaits the premiere of Matlock on September 22 on CBS.
