BUDAPEST: American women’s swimmer Kathy Ledky has reclaimed gold at the World Championships in the 400m freestyle after a gap of three years. This is Kathy’s 16th gold medal at the World Championships. Kathy also wins the most gold medals at the World Championships. Ariane Titmus, who overtook Kathy at the Tokyo Olympics to win gold in the 400m freestyle, did not compete in Hungary. Ariane missed out on the World Championships to attend the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
