Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif pays tribute to her mother Susan Turcotte’s British legacy with her pre – wedding saree. Celebrity designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed a pastel pink couture sari for Katrina. The long headdress was paired with a sari, reminiscent of a gown.
The tulle sari is embellished with hand cut English flowers. The sari was embroidered by women workers from Bengal. The crystals made the saree proud. The sari was made by 40 skilled workers in 1800 hours.
Paired with full sleeve blouse with floral design. The accessories were a Russian emerald diamond choker and matching earrings. These are from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelery.
The groom Vicky Kaushal played the role of Sherwani made in Bangalore Silk. Its charm is the beauty of the embroidery.
