The board of directors of Kattali Textile Limited, a listed company in the textile sector, has declared a dividend of 0.25 per cent to the shareholders. Its all cash dividends. Shareholders will get a cash dividend of 0.025 taka against each share worth 10 taka. However, the declared dividend will not be paid to the entrepreneurs and directors.
This dividend has been declared for the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2024.
On Sunday (September 29), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
The dividend decision was taken after reviewing and approving the last year’s audited financial report at the company’s board meeting held earlier on Saturday (September 28).
According to the information, the annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on November 21 in hybrid mode to approve the declared dividend by consensus of the shareholders. And the record date for distribution of the declared dividend to the shareholders has been set at 22 October.
The consolidated loss per share (EPS) of the company for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 was Rs.0.84. The company had a loss per share of Rs 0.32 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Rs 15.02 during the reporting period.
In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
