Perry wore a sculptural white Christian Siriano gown for the evening, while Trudeau wore a black suit paired with an open-collar white shirt. The outing marked their second official red carpet appearance together after making their debut at the Tribeca Festival in June for the premiere of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live From Paris.
The singer praised the museum’s collection, explaining that it features her favorite kind of art—pieces designed to move and affect the viewer emotionally. She concluded her remarks on social media by thanking George Lucas for hosting the event.
Romance Blossoms from Montreal to Japan
The couple first drew romance rumors in July 2025 after being spotted having dinner at Le Violon in Montreal. Trudeau attended Perry’s concert in the Canadian city just days later. By December 2025, Perry made the relationship official on Instagram by including her beau in a photo carousel from a trip to Japan.
Perry has shared highlights from their various adventures, including a snowy getaway, trips to Coachella, and a romantic vacation in California.
Trudeau and Perry Share Children with Former Partners
Trudeau separated from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, and they share three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien. Perry was previously engaged to Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a 6-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove, before their engagement ended in 2025.
Bloom, who is now dating Swiss model Luisa Laemmel, stated on TODAY last year that there was nothing but love
