Kave Home invoices 153 million, 34% more, and renews the dome

BarcelonaThe furniture design and decoration brand Kave Home, based in Sils (Girona), closed 2022 with great figures, mainly due to a 34% increase in its turnover, and an important change at the top of the company: Francesc Julià Ametller has been appointed the new CEO, giving way to a generational change in the company. In total, Kave Home had a turnover of 153 million euros last year — twice as much as in 2020 — driven by growth in all the company’s sales channels and the opening of 42 new physical sales points in 13 countries: two are own stores and 40 new franchises. In terms of employment, the company belonging to Julià Group experienced a growth of 230 workers, and now has a workforce of 500 people.

“This 2022 we have continued to meet our set growth targets. The opening of our brand’s first flagship store in Singapore at the end of the year has been the first step in our expansion plan in the South East region Asian that will consolidate us as a benchmark in the sector on a global scale,” explained Julià. The new CEO succeeds his father, whose namesake. He is an economist and has been with the company for six years, where he has developed tasks in the areas of commercial management, marketing and operations. Francesc Julià Gelabert, outgoing CEO, will assume the presidency of the board of directors and will continue to be linked to the design area.

Plan for 2023

Kave Home, which started the activity as a manufacturer and sells only on the Internet, plans to hire this year 80 new workers in the central offices and 50 more in a new logistics platform in Tordera (Barcelona), where it plans to move . Now the logistics center is in Fogars de la Selva. The new space will be a macro complex of 55,000 square meters expandable to more than 90,000 which will consist of a furniture recovery and recycling center, as well as an R&D area. All this in a year in which it expects to open more than 60 new physical points of sale, and which will mean the entry with its own stores in France and Italy.

Kave Home is present in more than 80 countries with 14 physical stores in Spain, distributed in cities such as Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Vigo, Pontevedra, A Coruña, Malaga, Ourense, Bilbao, Girona, Reus, Pamplona, ​​Zaragoza and an outlet in Martorell and The Torre Outlet in Zaragoza.
