(24 News) Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif met with Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olezhas Bekutinov on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government meeting in which both leaders agreed to make joint efforts to increase bilateral trade.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olezhas Bekutinov, had a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif today on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government (CHG) meeting. Agreed to work.

Welcoming the participation of Kazakhstan in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s determination to work with all the member countries of the organization to advance the principles and objectives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In this regard, the Prime Minister mentioned his visit to Astana for the meeting of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in July this year and appreciated Kazakhstan’s contribution and role in strengthening cooperation among the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Mentioning the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to increase trade and investment between the two countries and work for regional connectivity and security. Emphasizing the need to maintain regular and high-level contacts through the mechanism, the Prime Minister also stressed the need to convene meetings of Joint Working Groups on Agriculture and Trade at the earliest.
