The government commission of Kazakhstan to investigate the crash of the AZAL plane near the city of Aktau will present the preliminary results of its work within 30 days.
As Day.Az reports, this was announced by a member of the commission, Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic Talgat Lastaev in an interview with the Kazinform agency.
“In general, according to standards, preliminary or interim results of the investigation are announced within 30 days,” he said, answering a question about the date the commission provided its first conclusions on the plane crash.
According to Lastaev, the field stage of the investigation is now underway, that is, fragments of the aircraft, prints from the crash site are being collected, casts are being taken, all this is being collected in a specially organized hangar at Aktau airport.
Lastaev expressed the opinion that the black boxes of the crashed Embraer 190 plane will show the whole picture of the emergency. Earlier, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reported that the republic sent black boxes to Brazil. They will be taken to the Brazilian Aircraft Accident Investigation and Prevention Center.
