The Kazakh authorities do not confirm the fact that Russia is blocking the transit of coal to Ukraine. This was announced to RIA Novosti by the press secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the country, Madiyar Uakpayev.

“Russia has not blocked the supply of coal, but there are some restrictions due to the workload of the infrastructure on the Russian side,” he said.

Rada announced that Russia stopped the transit of coal from Kazakhstan

Earlier, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities of Ukraine, Andriy Gerus, wrote in Telegram that Moscow had limited the transit of coal to Ukraine from Kazakhstan through its territory. As a result, all November deliveries were blocked, he argued. According to Gerus, Moscow impedes transit at the level of Russian Railways, which “do not confirm the passage of cars with such coal.”
