Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after creating a political uproar to include images of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on currency notes.

Indian economy is not in good shape and with God’s blessings a lot of efforts are needed to bring the economy back to good shape.

He has written to the Prime Minister saying that it is the wish of 1.3 billion Indians that the currency notes should have the image of Mahatma Gandhi on one side and the images of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on the other.

It has received huge support among people. Everyone wants this to be implemented immediately.

On the one hand all the people of the country have to work hard and on the other hand, the blessings of the gods are also required. Thus our efforts bear fruit.

A country can progress only if there is a confluence of right policy, hard work and Gods blessings.

It is noteworthy that Kejriwal’s demand has provoked strong reactions among the BJP.
