The fire broke out on Saturday evening at the “Zoutia Ben Abbad” second-hand market, located in the El Maamoura district of Kenitra, local authorities said.
As soon as they were informed, local and security officials and civil protection services rushed to the site to begin extinguishing operations, he said, adding that intervention teams were able to contain the fire while efforts are ongoing to control and eventually extinguish the fire.
