The Auditorium of La Mercè hosted yesterday afternoon the presentation in Girona of the book Kennedyana, the posthumous work of Vicenç Pagès Jordàan event that served to remember the writer from Emporda, who died at the end of August.
The last legacy of Pagès, presented a few days ago in Figueres, his hometown, and Torroella de Montgrí, where he lived, is both a literary story, a synthesis of the mythology raised around the kennedy family and a singular essay on the redefinition of the boundaries between public and private life in the contemporary media world.
Those in charge of presenting the book, published by Folch&Folch, were the bookseller Guillem Terribasthe editor Ernest Folchthe vice-mayor and Councilor for Culture of Girona, Kim Ayats i Gloria Granelldirector of the Writing Room, where Pagès was a teacher.
Writers like Mercè Cuartiella, Esteve Miralles, Josep Maria Fonalleras, Jordi Dausà or Mar Bosch they participated in the event at the La Mercè cultural center. The poet also took part rose fontthe journalists Eva Vázquez i Jordi Amat o Margarida Casacubertaprofessor at the University of Girona.
