Washington: At least 50 people have been killed in a typhoon in the southeastern US state of Kentucky. The Kentucky governor made the remarks to reporters on Saturday morning. The winds, which blew around 200 miles around the state, caused extensive damage.
Gov. Bessier said it was the worst hurricane in Kentucky’s history.

A state of emergency has been declared in Kentucky. Meanwhile, local media reported that about 100 workers were trapped in the Amazon warehouse in Illinois, which was damaged by the storm.

Four states were shaken by the winds. Other states include Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.
