There are many people everywhere in the world who claim to be God and God’s incarnation. Elieu Simiu of Kenya is one of them. His argument was that he is Jesus Christ. But now, Simiu has sought refuge with the police, saying that he is afraid that the locals will catch him and crucify him. The incident took place in Bankama County, Kenya.

Simiu’s claim for many years was that he was Jesus Christ. That’s why he came out dressed like Jesus. But the people came and really tested him. If Simiu is the real Jesus, don’t be afraid of anything. People believed that even if they were nailed to the cross, they would be resurrected on the third day. Therefore, the locals suggested that Simiu could be crucified on Good Friday.

However, when he learned that the natives were preparing to crucify him, Simiu was terrified. He then approached the police. He complained to the police that there was a threat to his life. Now his life is based on the belief that he will get protection from the police.

Simiu was born in 1981. Simiu’s parents, Francis and Cecilia Simiu, died during his childhood. He had his primary education at Mukuyu Primary School in Tongaran, Bungoma County. He stopped his education at Form One. Later he turned to farming. Simiu is married and has eight children. The eldest is about to join a technical college.

Neighbors say that he had an injury on his head earlier and after that he turned to prayer and started saying that he is Jesus Christ.
