Madgaon: Kerala Blasters will take the lead today (ISL 2021-22) in the first quarter semi-final. The rivals of the Yellow Army are Jamshedpur FC. The match (JFC vs KBFC) will kick off in Goa at 7.30 pm.

After disappointing seasons, the Blasters have reached the semi – finals under new coach Ivan Vukomanovic. Faith in Asan is a great hope for the Yellow Jackets fans. Goa is the only venue for the semi-finals which will be played in two quarters as all the matches will be played in Goa due to Kovid. None of the players in the Blasters lineup are injured. All the players except Denachandra Metei were present in the training on the previous day.

Home ground disappointed this time

Kerala Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanovic told a news conference that he was disappointed not to be able to play at home in front of the fans this season and hoped that it would be possible next season. There is no pressure of playing in the play-off against the mighty Jamshedpur. When playing with the best teams, even the slightest mistake can come at a huge cost. Vukomanovic said he would therefore be careful.

‘Kochi will be the old Kochi’

The club has made it possible for the fans to watch the match outside the Kochi Kaloor Stadium, the home ground of the Kerala Blasters. Fans will be able to watch the game together on a large screen outside the stadium. The Blasters Management Fan Park is being set up on the road to the stadium. Live streaming of the fish will begin at 5:30 p.m.
