New Delhi ∙ Left Front-led protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against central government’s neglect of Kerala. Inaugurating the protest, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that it is a struggle against oppression at Jantar Mantar. The Chief Minister lashed out that the central government is misinterpreting the constitution and cutting the loan limit. With the slogan ‘protect federalism’, the protest movement reached Jantar Mantar from Kerala House. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Sitaram Yachuri, Prakash Karat, state ministers, MPs and MLAs are all joining the protest. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, DMK Minister Palanivel Thyagaraj and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah came in support of the strike.
