Gosi Strykers won the football tournament organized by Kerala United Football Club in Bahrain. In the final, Nihal defeated Jidali FC by a single goal.
The match was played at Al Shabab Ground with the participation of 16 teams registered with the Kerala Football Association. In the first semi-final, Jidali FC defeated Adalia FC in a penalty shootout to advance to the final.
The Gossie Strikers reached the final after beating Eagles FC by two goals in the second semi. Gosi won the Strikers’ Hijaz Player of the Tournament award for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Goalkeeper Sreejith also won the award for Best Goalkeeper. Mustafa of Jidali FC was named the best defender and Akshay of Eagles FC was named the top scorer.
