Miri Mesika is releasing today (Sunday) a single called: “Distance of the Time” which she wrote and composed for Keren Pels. Their special relationship, personal and professional, began back in Rimon School and continues to this day.

The new song belongs to Peles’ “Transparent” project in which she hosts various artists. The musical arrangement and production was entrusted to the talented hands of Gilad Shmueli, who also produced the first “Transparent” project.

Keren: “Miri’s voice opened for me the first door to the world in which I have been living and creating for many years. Our story has everything that makes up a journey of true friendship, one that survives difficulties and achievements, brings distance and the complexities of life closer together.”

“Excited to share with you a new work, which is actually the result of an ancient connection between us and between Miri’s poetry and my songs. After years dedicated to personal development, we meet again today as two whole women, with respect and love for the girls we once were. “The distance of time only brings me closer to you”

In addition to the single, Miri Masika was chosen to play the main role in the musical “Visit of the Orchestra”. Miri in the role of Dina (played by Ronit Alkabats in the film), an Israeli, a resident of the development town, who hosts the Egyptian orchestra that accidentally stumbled upon the town in the heart of the desert. The entire musical takes place over just one day and deals with the connection between people and at the center of the plot is the relationship between Dina and Toufik, the commander and conductor of the orchestra, who apparently have no connection, but the common denominator is greater than it seems.

Miri Kaczor began her career as an actress in the play “King Shlomo and Shlomo the Shoemaker” at the same time she broke out as a singer. At the same time as her extensive musical career, Miri also combined her favorite acting and theater and took part in the shows “The Wretched of Life”, “Yud Hakur Nigingan”, the movie “Three Mothers” and more.

Miri: “It is a great honor for me and I am full of excitement to participate in the musical and to be a part of this historic and respected theater. Theater is a great love of mine and for me it is a dream come true.”
