It is reported that the use of kerosene has increased due to the current shortage of cooking gas.

The average daily kerosene consumption in the country is 600 metric tons in the past. But now the daily usage has increased to 850 metric tons.

In addition, kerosene is distributed to gas stations that sell kerosene. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has stated that there is no shortage of kerosene.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas hopes that the shortage of cooking gas in the country will be fully addressed in the next few days.
