Thiruvananthapuram,

The South African cricket team is touring India to play three T20Is and three ODIs. For this, the South African players arrived in India the day before yesterday.

The first 20-over match between India and South Africa starts tomorrow in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The South African team led by Bouma performed well in the T20 series during the tour of India last June. It is expected that the South African team will give a great challenge to India this time.

Meanwhile, ahead of the opening match, South African spinner Keshav Maharaj visited the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram in traditional attire. He also wished his fans on Navratri.

Keshav Maharaj’s ancestors hailed from the city of Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. It is noteworthy that later they migrated to South Africa.
