Monaco has secured Kevarrius Hayes, the recently crowned French champion, for a two-year contract, marking the first major recruitment for the Principality club.

The Roca Team announced Monday the signing of the 28-year-old American pivot, who previously played for Paris Basketball. Hayes,standing at 2.06m (6’9″),brings a physical presence and a reliable shooting touch to the Monaco roster,having completed his collegiate career at the University of Florida Gators.

Prior to joining Paris basketball, the player honed his skills with teams including CANTU (Italy), ASVEL, BURSASPOR (Türkiye), and Kaunas (Lithuania), competing in the EuroLeague from 2022 to 2024. Last season in the EuroLeague, Hayes averaged 20 minutes per game, contributing 6.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1 interception, and 0.8 blocks.
