Breaking News: Kevin Dunn to Leave WWE Amidst Company Changes

Kevin Dunn, the “Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution” of WWE, is reportedly set to leave the company following the Endeavor deal in September. According to a report from PWInsider, Dunn gave notice around Christmas week, citing changes internally post-Endeavor acquisition as a factor in his decision to retire.

Insider sources revealed that Dunn was “never going to do anything that was dictated” to him, which clashed with the new owner’s vision of cost-cutting and a different approach to TV production. It was also believed that Dunn “never intended to work for anyone other than Vince McMahon in WWE”, further emphasizing his deep ties to the company.

Dunn’s tenure with WWE has been long-standing, with his father having worked with Vince McMahon’s father, leading to his hiring shortly after McMahon purchased the then-WWF. Over time, Dunn’s role grew to his current title, making him one of the most loyal and trusted members of Vince’s team. Despite his close relationship with McMahon, Dunn was often criticized by former and current employees.

This news comes as another significant change for the new WWE, with more developments expected to follow. As WWE continues to undergo internal shifts, Dunn’s departure marks a new era for the company.
