In the canton of Bern, several municipalities are holding votes and elections. Important decisions in alphabetical order.

Belp

Stefan Neuenschwander (SP) has been elected as the new mayor of Belp. He secured 68.9 percent of the votes against Markus Müller (Mitte).

Bern

The citizens of Bern have committed to the Fischermätteli tram. The voters approved a loan of almost 16 million francs for the complete renovation of the Brunnhof-Fischermätteli road space with 76.1 percent.

Frutigen

Thomas Gyseler (Liberales Frutigen) is the new president of the municipal council of Frutigen. He won the replacement election with 71 percent of the votes against his opponent Hans Germann (SVP).

Langenthal
