BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will soon be taken abroad for better treatment, said the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Saying that Khaleda Zia will be taken out of the country for treatment very soon, Mirza Fakhrul wished the health of the party chairperson. At the same time, he prayed for the souls of those killed in the anti-discrimination movement.
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the Doa Mahfil function on the ground floor of BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan of the capital on Friday (August 16) morning. This doa mahfil was organized on the occasion of Begum Khaleda Zia’s 80th birth anniversary.
Highlighting the long struggle of Khaleda Zia, he said that no woman leader in the world has fought for democracy like this. Begum Khaleda Zia left the house and saved the party from tyranny. At this time, the BNP Secretary General urged everyone to be united saying that the struggle to overthrow the dictatorial government is not over. He believes that real success will come only if the people’s government is established after the election.
Our children have brought victory with the fresh blood of their breasts. Many boys of Chhatra Dal have died. No distinction can be made now. Must be united.
He said, the struggle is not over, we are still floating. There are many conspiracies going on. Even sitting in India, Sheikh Hasina is plotting. We must be vigilant, united.
