It would have been Francesco Lupino to kill Khrystyna Novak, the 29-year-old Ukrainian who disappeared in Castelfranco di Sotto (Pisa). The man, 49 years old from Fucecchio (Florence) had always rejected the accusations but after nine hours of interrogation and with the woman’s body found on 21 May, he would have collapsed.
According to reports from Ansa, in the face of increasingly pressing complaints from investigators, Lupino would have admitted that he was the one who killed the night between 1 and 2 November 2020 Khrystyna Novak in a house in Corte Nardi of Castelfranco di Sotto (Pisa).
In that house the young woman lived with her Spanish boyfriend, and former business partner of Lupino’s, who had been arrested a few days earlier in a drug raid.
