(Mansoor Ahmad) A fierce exchange of fire has occurred between security forces and terrorists at three different locations in the Tirah valley of Khyber.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), three soldiers were martyred during the operation. They are: 37-year-old Havaldar Inam Gul from Mianwali, 29-year-old Sepoy Mohammad Imran from Tank, and 22-year-old Sepoy Altaf Khan from Mardan.
ISPR reported that Havaldar Inam Gul Shaheed served in the Pakistan Army for 15 years and 6 months. He leaves behind his parents, wife, and siblings. Sepoy Mohammad Imran Shaheed also leaves behind his parents, wife, and siblings. Sepoy Mohammad Altaf Khan Shaheed had served for two years and is survived by his parents and one sister.
ISPR stated that the security forces are conducting a sanitization operation to eliminate foreign elements in the area. The operation is part of their ongoing fight against terrorism. The sacrifices of these brave soldiers will strengthen their resolve in the fight against this scourge.
