Kia XCeed revised

by time news

Dhe X Ceed from Kia has been in the Korean brand’s range for three years, and the 4.40 meter long SUV is already getting a facelift for the 2023 model year. A significantly modified front apron and a flatter, dumbbell-shaped radiator grille are new. At the rear, the supposed underbody protection disappears, instead of off-road design, chrome applications now dominate. The sporty GT-Line equipment, which is available for the most powerful versions with 160 and 204 hp, has also been heavily revised. Horizontal air inlets at the front and black exterior mirrors are the main features.

Inside, a display with variable programming replaces the previous round instruments, and a new feature is a lane departure warning system, which now also actively intervenes if the car threatens to unintentionally leave its lane. The system can be shut down with just one push of a button, which is helpful on narrow roads or in construction sites with deviating lane markings.

Another button next to the shift lever can be used to activate the reversing camera when driving forward so that the following traffic can be observed. An active blind spot and cross-traffic warning should also ensure more safety.
