Pathanamthitta: A five-member gang in a car in Konni Vetur abandoned the kidnapped youth in Ernakulam. Ajesh Babu, a native of Konni Vettur, was called from his home and Ajesh was abducted. A group of five in a silver colored Innova car forcibly abducted them from home.
The police received information about the accused in the incident. The missing Ajesh was called home from the phone of one of the accused. The police investigation is focused on this phone number. The vehicle went from Malayalapuzha to Thrissur via Pala. The reason for the abduction is not clear.

They forcibly pushed Ajesh inside the car while he was eating. The gang harassed the father and mother who tried to stop them. During the struggle, the mother fell down. His father, Unnikrishnan, pelted stones at the vehicle that had reached the attackers. The rear window of the car was broken by a stone.

The case is being investigated by a team led by Malayappuzha SHO Vijayan under the supervision of Pathanamthitta DYSP S Nandakumar. Ajeshkumar’s phone is currently in police custody.
