Later, the Sunder police registered a case of the incident on the statement of Khalil-ur-Rehman, in which it was said that the accused kept torturing Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and kept him moving around in different places. Khalilur Rehman said that the accused asked to ask for money from the relatives while threatening to kill them.
According to the FIR, the accused also transferred two and a half lakh rupees from Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar through mobile phone, watch, cash register and ATM card. The dramatist further said in the FIR that the accused fled with blindfolds and left them in a deserted place.
