Riyadh: A Yemeni man has been executed for killing his wife and four children at home, Saudi officials say. Executed by Saleh Abdullah.
The incident happened nine years ago. He killed his wife by strangling her with a clothes hanger at her home in Sharoora town. He was later stabbed to death and beheaded, Gulf News reported, citing the Okas newspaper.
He then killed his four children, aged between two and 11. One of the children was born to an ex-wife. He himself informed the police after the bodies of the five were brought to a place after the murder. According to the report, he revealed that he had committed the murder due to the stress of life and did not regret it. He was executed on Wednesday in Najran, southwestern Saudi Arabia, the interior ministry said.
